Take a trip to the Delaware Art Museum. Enjoy the art exhibitions, including the following:
• Pyle and the Pre-Raphaelites, brings together two of the Museum’s signature collections: the founding collection of work by American illustrator Howard Pyle and Samuel Bancroft’s collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art.
• Transcendent: Landscapes of the Hudson River School, Drawn primarily from the rich collections of The New York Historical, Transcendent: Landscapes of the Hudson River School explores nationally beloved paintings through the lens of Transcendentalism, a 19th-century movement that emphasized the spiritual connection between humans and the natural world.
• Jamey Grimes: Aster, Through his manipulation of synthetic materials, Jamey Grimes constructs sculptures that engage the viewer in an exploration of form and space.
After we are done perusing the museum, we will stop at Wegmans to grab lunch.
