175th Anniversary of the Christiana Resistance

Learn about Christiana's railroad history and the town’s role in the underground railroad taking you back to the mid-1800s and a significant event (The Christiana Resistance) that helped convince President Lincoln that war was the only option. Learn about people (some you will recognize) and see buildings that date back to those times with little alterations. Events will be occurring throughout the town. Maps will be included. Moderate walking required; historic part of town is about 200 yard square.
Cost: $10 for transportation, food on own.
